Stuffed and Double-Stacked to the Max, Johnny Rockets Debuts New Burgers

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting today, guests at Johnny Rockets restaurant chain can enjoy its world famous burgers, now double-stacked and stuffed with all the right ingredients to satisfy the cravings of burger lovers all over the country. Last month, Johnny Rockets' culinary team announced that they were involving consumers in menu development for the brand's ongoing limited-time menu offerings. The new burgers, available for a limited time only at participating restaurants through November 15, 2015, are once again a result of consumer feedback and taste tests. The majority of consumers asked for more beef, more cheese, more bacon and more elements of surprise on their burgers. 

Johnny Rockets stuffed, double-stack burgers are a Teriyaki Pineapple Double-Stack, a Spicy Southern Double-Stack and the All-American Bacon Double-Stack. 

In addition, guests at Johnny Rockets are going to get goosebumps. In anticipation of the nationwide release of Goosebumps, the new movie starring Jack Black based on the worldwide best-selling Scholastic book series by R.L. Stine, Johnny Rockets is teaming up with Sony Pictures Entertainment for the restaurant chain's first-ever shake celebrating a major studio film release. The Johnny Rockets Goosebumps shake is available now in participating restaurants just ahead of the film's October 16 nationwide release. 

New Double-Stacked Limited Time Menu
The notion that everything tastes better with bacon certainly has staying power on the menu at Johnny Rockets. Consumer demand for bacon at Johnny Rockets continues and comes out on top every time as the most desired ingredient to top burgers and sandwiches. Applewood smoked bacon rules on all the new stuffed and double-stack burgers.

• Teriyaki Pineapple Double-Stack Burger has two fresh beef patties, a slice of sweet grilled pineapple, melted provolone cheese and a sweet and salty pineapple teriyaki sauce, lettuce and tomato on an artisan bun.
• Spicy Southern Double-Stack Burger includes a creamy sriracha pimento cheese, combining a hot and tangy taste with a hint of sweetness with a Southern icon mix of sharp cheddar and pimento, on two beef patties, with a spring lettuce mix, tomato, dill pickle chips and mayonnaise on an artisan bun.
• All-American Bacon Double-Stack has American cheese melted between two beef patties so it sinks deep into the fresh beef, a spring lettuce mix, tomato and a special that combines mayonnaise, sweet relish, seasonings and chili sauce on an artisan bun.

The Goosebumps shake is made with premium vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, and milk, mixed with Oreo pieces, and topped with whipped cream, an Oreo garnish, and colorful gummy worms. The frightfully fun Goosebumps shake is designed to satisfy Goosebumps fans of all ages by conjuring up memories of the series.

Another shake that was introduced for a limited time last month -- the Reese's Peanut Butter Shake -- has out-performed expectations with Johnny Rockets' guests and will now remain on the menu until November 15, 2015. The Reese's Peanut Butter Shake is made with premium ice cream, Reese's peanut butter sauce, chocolate syrup, and topped with mini Reese's peanut butter pieces and whipped cream. And to top off the shake, peanut butter lovers will enjoy a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
