Summit Business Media Names Stephen J. Grande as Senior Vice President of Operations & Manufacturing

NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Summit Business Media, a leading business-to-business media company serving the insurance, financial services, legal and investment advisory markets, today announced that it has named Stephen J. Grande as Senior Vice President of Operations and Manufacturing.

Grande brings a wide range of print, digital and production experience to Summit. For the past ten years, he was Vice President/Sales at Fry Communications Inc., working to provide publishers with a broad set of services in print, direct mail, and mobile and web media. In that role, Grande worked with a wide range of companies in the development of strategies, practices and product offerings that address customers' changing needs.

Prior to his work at Fry Communications, Grande headed Grande + Associates, Inc., providing management advice and consulting for publishing and media operations.  Some of his clients included McKinsey & Company, The Atlantic Monthly, MIT/Sloan Management Review, Lillian Vernon Corporation, The Semiconductor Industry Association, Bertelsmann and various private equity firms.

Grande had also served as VP/Manufacturing at CMP Media for over ten years and, earlier, as Director of Manufacturing at McGraw-Hill for almost ten years.  He was a recipient of Publishing & Production Executive Magazine's Publishing Executive 1998 Hall of Fame Award.
