Sun Design Remodeling Specialists of Fairfax, Va. Wins 2009 Capital CotY Award from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry

BURKE, Va., Feb. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun Design Remodeling Specialists, Inc. of Fairfax, Va., today announced that it has won a "Contractor of the Year" (CotY) award from the Capital Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) for a major project that it completed in Falls Church, Virginia.  This marks Sun Design's 31st CotY Award since 1996.  

The project for which Sun Design won its newest CotY was a complete modern makeover.  The clients wanted a main level remodel of their lakefront home to bring a more cohesive modern look to a home that had undergone several previous remodels. New spaces added include a modern kitchen, dining room, master suite, powder room and foyer.

The CotY awards – which NARI says represents the "best of the best" – include 35 entry categories of eligible remodeling and design-build projects. Sun Design won the award for 2009 in the category of residential interior in the price range of $250,000-500,000. The Metro DC Chapter of NARI comprises 500 remodeling companies including full-service contractors, design-build firms, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, subcontractors, and other professionals who work in the remodeling industry.
