Sunrise Senior Living Raises More Than $400,000 In The Fight To End Alzheimer's Disease

MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- For the fourth year in a row, Sunrise Senior Living is proud to support The Walk to End Alzheimer's^® as a National Platinum Team. Sunrise communities across the country have been spearheading fundraising activities for the Walk for the past five months, and to date, have raised more than $400,000 through their local efforts. Since the partnership began, Sunrise teams have brought in more than $1.5 million for the cause.

"We offer more than 200 caregiver support groups throughout our communities each month, as well as an average of 40 brain-healthy activities per week.
