Sutter Care at Home Dedicates 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament to Veterans
Funds Benefit Veterans in Hospice Care
SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Not-for-profit Sutter Care at Home will pay tribute to veterans in hospice care by dedicating funds from its 27th Annual Charity Golf Tournament scheduled on June 6, 2016 at the Orinda Golf and Country Club.
Donations to the Supporting Our Veterans program will help provide specialized staff training, community outreach and collaboration with veteran support services. Sutter Care at Home's Patient Assistance fund offers financial assistance for utilities, rent or burial expenses to improve quality of life for veterans and their families throughout the 27 Northern California counties Sutter Care at Home serves patients.
Sutter Care at Home strives to meet the unique needs of veterans by linking them to the services and resources they have earned through service to our country. Services include developing a personalized care plan guided by the patient and family's wishes; providing expert in-home care, support and training to maintain the patient's independence and dignity; and offering counseling for physical or psychological trauma.
