Synoptic Data Selected to Develop Next-Generation WIS 2.0 Test Infrastructure

The multi-year contract represents a significant step forward in advancing reliable, accessible environmental data systems—especially for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and under-observed regions.

The WIS 2.0 Test Infrastructure will provide a controlled, reliable and scalable environment for testing and validating the performance of the system and its components. It will allow private and government partners to ensure their systems are fully functional and synergized before entering operational use, reducing risks to live services.
