T4 Teaming Seminar Provides Opportunities for Large & Small Business Plus Product & Service Providers
Department of Veterans Affairs T4 Program Could Exceed $5 Billion in Value
RESTON, Va., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- INPUT, the authority on government business, today announced a T4 Teaming Seminar, May 4, 2010, in Falls Church, Va. This event will bring together INPUT analysts and businesses interested in prime and subcontracting opportunities as well as product companies and service providers that may contribute on one of the largest new federal programs for 2010.
"Our teaming seminars are a great opportunity for small businesses to get face time with larger potential prime contractors," said Tim Dowd, president and CEO, INPUT. "We create a collaborative environment where companies can forge stronger contracting teams. The end result will be better services to the government customer."
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) Program will consist of a multiple award contract vehicle to provide a comprehensive, world-wide, solution to support both VA and non-VA customers. While a ceiling value has not yet been established, the contract is similar to, but not a direct follow-on to Global Information Technology Support Services GITSS, which was approximately $3 billion. INPUT estimates the value of this program to be $5B. T4 offers an opportunity for multiple prime and subcontractors to provide a broad range of services and products including:
- Program management, strategy, and planning
- Systems/software engineering
- Enterprise networks
- Cybersecurity
- Operations and maintenance
- Information technology facilities
The seminar will feature briefings from INPUT analysts – fresh from the VA industry day—on the intricacies of what to expect during the contract procurement lifecycle. The event will include a "speed dating" round – an opportunity for businesses and service providers to meet with representatives of large and small prime contractor candidates to discuss T4 opportunities.
The following companies are participating in the "speed dating" round as potential prime contractors.
