CHICAGO, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is launching its premier showcase, inviting manufacturing leaders from around the world to IMTS 2026 on September 14 at McCormick Place. Beyond a week on the show floor, Taiwan is bringing 56 of its manufacturers directly through a full schedule of programming, from hands-on sessions to networking events built for real business exchange.
Located at Booth #236834 in the North Building, the Taiwan Flagship Showcase offers a rare, concentrated look at the technology and expertise driving one of the world's most advanced manufacturing economies. This will be one of the few chances to see Taiwan's manufacturing sector in person with direct access to the engineers and executives behind the machines.
Featured technologies include high-precision multi-axis machining systems for aerospace and other demanding applications; CNC controllers, robotics and machine vision for automated production; zero-point positioning and advanced workholding systems that reduce setup time; high-performance spindles and motion-control components used in advanced machinery and semiconductor equipment; and energy-saving factory solutions supporting low-carbon production and ESG objectives.
Taiwanese manufacturers have also become increasingly integrated into global advanced manufacturing supply chains. Suppliers from Taiwan work with leading international companies including SpaceX, Micron, NXP and Siemens, supporting applications ranging from critical aerospace components to precision control and motion systems used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
TAITRA is also organizing a series of business and promotional activities throughout IMTS week, including the Taiwan Flagship Showcase opening ceremony, guided brand tours, international buyer matchmaking and industry-focused seminars. An exclusive Taiwan Night networking event will further connect Taiwanese manufacturers with international buyers, distributors and technology partners in Chicago.
