Tamturbo in the Top 10 Most Promising Cleantech Companies in the Nordics!

Tamturbo is proud to rank among the top 10 most promising cleantech companies in the Nordis. The ten companies represent the very best and most innovative within novel Nordic cleantech. The companies have been selected through a very careful selection among over 100 applicants. First, a jury consisting of over 50 representatives from venture capital funds and industrial companies have graded the companies. Then the entrepreneurs from the 25 best companies have met large parts of the jury in order to further strengthen their cases. Based on these meetings the jury have then selected the top 10, the best of the best out of the 107 applicants.

Tamturbo's high placement in the Nordic Cleantech Open continues the string of successes that the company has had since launching its high-speed turbo compressor. From its very first introduction at the Hannover ComVac Fair in spring 2013, the new compressor has stimulated extensive international demand in the multibillion-euro compressed air market.
As a direct result of these successes, Tamturbo has signed their first orders that aim at significant, long-term partnerships internationally. In addition, negotiations with a number of other potential partners around the world are on the way.
Tamturbo's product development has proceeded to the point where the first compressors will be delivered to the first industrial customer in Finland in summer 2014. The first OEM partners, i.e. other compressor manufacturers worldwide, will receive their units for compressor package development and testing simultaneously.
The winners the Nordic Cleantech Open competition will be announced at the final event in Stockholm on May 19, where the top 10 will be presenting and the audience will take part in picking the winners.
