Tata Consultancy Services Appointed Official Technology Partner to Pro Cycling Team Garmin-Cervelo

MUMBAI, India, Feb. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tata Consultancy Services (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) a leading IT services, business solutions and outsourcing firm was today appointed as official technology partner to the pro-cycling team – Team Garmin-Cervelo -for the racing season 2011.

Team Garmin-Cervelo is a top ranked powerhouse in professional cycling with 39 male and female riders from Europe, North America and Australia. The team is dedicated to ethical sport and developing the next generation of cycling champions. The team comprises several world champions including Thor Hushovd and Emma Pooley, sprint sensation Tyler Farrar,  Ryder Hesjedal and Tour de France veteran Christian Vande Velde. The team also boasts several current and former national champions including Murilo Fischer, Cameron Meyer, Jack Bobridge and Alexis Rhodes.
