TBWA\Istanbul Is Most Awarded Ad Agency At The 19th Annual Golden Drum International Advertising Festival Of New Europe

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TBWA\Istanbul picked up two Grand Prix and one Golden Drum award at the 19th Golden Drum International Advertising Festival, becoming the Most Awarded Ad Agency in the Single Channel category.

The agency had a total of 9 shortlists. Among these, TBWA\Istanbul "Stationary" received a Grand Prix in the Design of Brand and Corporate Identity/Visual Identities category and the 42 Maslak "Artful Living" campaign received a Grand Prix in the Outdoor/Corporate Advertising category. In the Outdoor/Furnishings and Electronic Equipment category, IKEA "Fixed Prices" posters received a Golden Drum.

The 19th Golden Drum Competition and Awards are open to all agencies, advertisers, clients, design or production houses, TV broadcasting or media companies and others involved in the creation or production of marketing communications, registered in the following countries from New Europe:  Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

The Golden Drum Competition is divided in two sections: Single Channel, for entries that excel in the most creative and efficient use of a single communication channel, and Multi Channel, for entries that promote creative use and integration of more than one communication channel. Both sections are judged by two international juries, featuring top industry professionals.
