TD BANK EXTENDS SPONSORSHIP OF THE WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON CELTICS THROUGH 2044 -2045 SEASON

KICKED OFF EXTENSION WITH WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH 'COMMUNITY CREW' EVENT

BOSTON, Feb. 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Boston Celtics announced today the extension of their relationship with TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank^®, solidifying the bank's role as the exclusive retail and online banking provider for both the Boston Celtics and the Maine Celtics through the 2044-2045 season.

• Enhance fan engagement through key events such as Opening Night, Kids Day and Fan Appreciation Night. These special in-arena theme nights provide fans, customers and community members of all ages the chance to participate in unique and memorable experiences.
  
  
• Invest in the Greater Boston community through the TD Bank CommUNITY Crew program, which empowers families and youth in need. This year-round community outreach initiative includes renovations at schools, community centers and youth development facilities as well as volunteer opportunities that benefit critical community services.
  
  
• Continue to support local nonprofits through initiatives like the TD Bank Community Clubhouse and Courtside Kids, providing complementary tickets, behind-the-scenes experiences and special game-day access.
  
  
• Launch TD's presenting sponsorship of the Season Ticket Wait List community, enhancing engagement with this dedicated Celtics fanbase.  

With the Maine Celtics, TD Bank will continue to expand its Official Bank sponsorship and this season will integrate with two special game nights, including EmpowHER Night and the Fan Appreciation Game. Additionally, TD Bank will host annual CommUNITY Crew events in Maine, continuing its support for local communities.

To kick off the extension, the Boston Celtics and TD Bank CommUNITY Crew members hosted 60 girls associated with You Got It Girl, Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) Curtis Hall and Massachusetts Department of Children & Families (DCF) in Jamaica Plain yesterday. Celtics player Al Horford, C's Scout and Assistant General Manager of the Maine Celtics Ashley Battle, NBC Sports Boston host Kayla Burton and Chief Marketing Officer of TD Bank Jennie Platt joined the event.

In honor of Women's History Month, Burton moderated a panel with Horford, Battle and Platt to discuss the power of women's sports. Youth also participated in a 30-minute basketball clinic and received a WNBA Wilson Basketball, a customized backpack, and a gift card from Frugal Bookstore, a female-owned business in the area.
