Tech for Social Good: Kinaxis Sponsors 'Random Hacks of Kindness'
Supply chain software company participates in event to build technology solutions for a better world
OTTAWA, June 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Kinaxis® (TSX:KXS), provider of RapidResponse®, delivering cloud-based SCM and S&OP applications, is proud to sponsor Random Hacks of Kindness (RHoK) Ottawa, which takes place June 24-26, 2016 at Maker Space North in Ottawa, Ontario.
Random Hacks of Kindness is a hackathon for social good that brings together volunteer developers and tech-savvy do-gooders to work with charities, community groups and social enterprises. They match organizations that have a social impact, with skilled technologists who want to make a difference.

In addition to sponsorship, several Kinaxis employees have volunteered to participate at Random Hacks of Kindness Ottawa. Volunteers will apply their professional skills to support such projects as: Data integration for Ten Oaks, redefining the CARE package, Sens@School educational game and the Internet of Things (IoT) beehive project for Algonquin College. This two-day event is looking for additional volunteer hackers from diverse backgrounds, including: computer programmers, project managers, user interface and user experience specialists, marketing professionals, and more.
