Technisource Teams With WITI on Executive Auction and Roundtable at Women Powering Technology Summit

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Technisource, one of the largest technology staffing and services providers in North America, today announced they are proudly sponsoring the WITI Executive Auction and moderating the timely executive roundtable discussions on "Hiring and Advancing More Women" on October 4th during the Annual Women Powering Technology Summit at the DoubleTree by Hilton® Hotel in San Jose, California, October 2-4, 2011. Technisource will also be exhibiting at booth #26 during the 3-day WITI Summit. The WITI Executive Auction will be held on October 4th from 5:15-7:00pm in the Gateway Ballroom at the DoubleTree, with all proceeds going to the Women in Technology Foundation.  The foundation supports the WITI Hall of Fame Awards, which honors the contributions of women to science and technology and formally recognizes leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to empowering other women. The Women in Technology Foundation also supports WITI NextGen, a young women's micro conference designed to encourage young women and girls to consider careers in science and technology.

Prior to the auction, Sean Ebner will be facilitating an executive roundtable on October 4th at 3:30pm in the Gateway Ballroom.  The discussion will focus on "Hiring and Advancing More Women" – a timely topic given the disproportionate number of men vs. women executives in technology.
