TechSee Introduces Visual Measurements, Turning Live Service Calls Into Remote Sales Opportunities
New Sophie Assist capability uses AI to estimate real-world dimensions with no app download needed, letting teams quote, size, and close jobs without a field visit
NEW YORK, Nov. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TechSee, the leader in Visual AI for customer service, today introduced Visual Measurements, a new capability within Sophie Assist that lets live agents remotely estimate the physical dimensions of a device directly from a mobile camera snapshot, with no tape measure, no app download, and no field visit.
Remote visual assistance has let companies see a problem from anywhere for years. What it couldn't do was quantify a customer's space. An agent couldn't confirm a new refrigerator wouldn't clear a counter, that a replacement water heater needed extra headroom, or that a cooktop matched an existing cutout, only guess.
Turning that guess into a sale or a work order still meant sending someone out to confirm the numbers by hand. That gap impacted revenue. A flat-rate quote, a materials order, or a "will this fit" decision all depend on exact dimensions, and without them, companies either sent someone out before they could sell anything, sold the wrong product, or lost the deal to a competitor willing to show up in person first.
Visual Measurements closes that gap, for service and for sales. During a live session, an agent asks the customer for a snapshot of the device in question. Sophie Assist detects the object, estimates its width and length, and returns a result the agent can document and act on immediately, whether that means quoting and closing a sale on the same call, ordering the right part, or finalizing an install.
Unlike legacy AR measurement tools, which require a customer to continuously scan a space inside a dedicated app, Visual Measurements works from a single photo inside a browser session that is already underway. The capability runs on TechSee's proprietary visual and spatial AI technology, protected by 11 patents. Because that technology identifies the object before it estimates its size, the result is grounded in what is actually being measured, not a blind distance between two tapped points.
"The home is becoming the next frontier for enterprise revenue, and the brands that win it will be the ones that actually understand the space inside it," said Amir Yoffe, COO and Co-Founder of TechSee. "That's what Visual and Spatial AI gives us: the ability to see a customer's home and act on it. Visual Measurements is that understanding turned into revenue, the moment a photo becomes a quote."
Gartner found that 84% of service leaders plan to add new skills to frontline roles, opening the door for agents to take on sales and revenue-generating work during the same calls. Visual Measurements gives that shift something concrete to run on: utilities quoting appliance and equipment installs without a site visit, homebuilders verifying construction and warranty work remotely, window and door companies measuring replacements over a live session, and retailers answering "will it fit" questions before a customer ever leaves the aisle.
