Television Shopping Pioneer Kevin Harrington Goes Mobile With Celebrity Shopping Experience "StarShop"
NEW YORK, June 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Television shopping pioneer and inventor of the Infomercial Kevin Harrington today announces StarShop, a mobile celebrity-driven m-commerce app and website. This innovative celebrity curated marketplace will be available for download in the iTunes App Store, Google Play and online at www.starshop.com. Consumers will be able to watch, listen and purchase their favorite celebrities' brands anywhere, anytime.
Thirty years ago while watching television, pioneer of "As Seen On TV" and original Shark Tank judge Harrington grew tired of seeing the color test bars on the screen while looking for entertainment programming. He was inspired to produce the industry's first 30-minute infomercial. Flash forward to today, he noticed a similar void, but in the mobile shopping marketplace as people migrate from television to mobile devices as a primary information source. He created StarShop to once again give consumers a unique shopping choice and found strategic partners to fulfill his vision.
