TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Clyde E. McKenzie, Chairman and CEO Tellurex Corporation, has announced the appointment of Thomas C. Kinnear to its Board of Directors. The Board elected him to an open position on September 5.
Kinnear, the D. Maynard Phelps Professor of Business Administration and Marketing at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, was founding Executive Director of the internationally known Samuel Zell and Robert H. "We are excited to welcome Tom to our board" said Tellurex Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Clyde McKenzie. "He was an early investor in Tellurex. His peerless academic background, his broad hands-on experience in the development of emerging companies and his active roles in the establishment and growth of capital markets that are driving the resurgence of the State of Michigan make him a singular and very important addition to our company's team of attentive and active directors."
Professor Kinnear noted, "Tellurex Corporation is known for product innovations and developments of its own and for successful collaborations with others. The company has demonstrated deep thermoelectric technology insight based on years of research into thermoelectric materials and module design and assembly.
