TeraThink Awarded $100M Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) for Financial Management Systems Information Technology Support Services (FMS-ITSS) in support of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation

RESTON, Va., Jan. 23, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- TeraThink has been selected as the prime contractor by Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) for their Financial Management Systems- Information Technology Support Services (FMS-ITSS) contract.  This five-year unrestricted single award IDIQ contract has a ceiling of $100 million.  This award represents new work and expands TeraThink's presence in the Enterprise Applications and Digital Transformation offerings.

PBGC is a federal agency that protects the retirement incomes of more than 40 million American workers in more than 24,000 private-sector defined benefit pension plans and is a leader among federal agencies achieving 26 consecutive years of unmodified audit opinions.  On the FMS-ITSS contract, TeraThink will execute task orders to maintain, upgrade, consolidate, and simplify PBGC's financial management systems to better align with the organization's business, information technology and mission requirements.

The primary task areas on FMS-ITSS contract include Project Management; Development, Modernization and Engineering (DME); Operations and Maintenance (O&M); Enterprise Architecture (EA); Training; Continuity of Operations (COOP); Data Management; Audit Readiness; and Advisory/Consulting Services.  The tasks executed in these areas provide for greater operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the continued transformation of the PBGC infrastructure to enable implementation of new business solutions efficiently and securely.  TeraThink's execution on FMS-ITSS will improve performance, reduce costs, increase transparency of costs and improve customer service levels.
