DALLAS and HOUSTON, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas-based Peregrine Petroleum is proudly debuting a new website that provides customers and the public with more information about the company and its growing presence in U.S. oil and gas exploration and development.

Privately held Peregrine, which has offices in Dallas and Houston, has steadily grown a portfolio of successful U.S. oil and gas ventures since the company was founded in 2008 by a group of energy industry veterans from Hunt Petroleum Corp. Today, Peregrine focuses on upstream onshore exploration and development in the continental United States, including current, active operations in North Dakota's Williston Basin and the Permian Basin in West Texas.

"We feel our new website will provide added levels of functionality and more information on our growing oil and gas efforts throughout the U.S.," says Michael B. Wisenbaker Jr., Peregrine's president. "We wanted our site to convey the breadth and depth of our work while focusing on the quality individuals at our company who continue to contribute to our overall success."

In addition to information on the company's current exploration projects, the new Peregrine website now includes profiles of Peregrine employees and the company's plans for an expanding presence in the U.S. oil and gas industry.

Peregrine's rapid growth has included the expansion of its Houston operations earlier this year with a move to new offices on Allen Parkway. Also in 2013, Peregrine announced the debut of the company's new educational assistance program, which is helping Peregrine employees meet their higher education goals by providing reimbursement for completed coursework at accredited schools.
