Texas de Brazil Continues Expansion into Mexico City
International Location to Open Doors in Polanco Neighborhood This Friday
DALLAS, June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The rapidly growing Brazilian Steakhouse company, Texas de Brazil, (http://www.texasdebrazil.com/espanol/), will soon be serving residents and visitors of the luxurious Masaryk Avenue in Polanco, Mexico City. With an almost 9,000 sq. foot restaurant and capacity for 280 guests, Texas de Brazil will open to the public on Friday. The stunning historic Colonial Californiano-style building turned restaurant will feature a chef's table, open-view grill in the dining area, a semi-private dining room and perhaps the most intriguing asset, a signature wine wall adorned with Wine Angels. To further enhance the guest experience, the Wine Angels perform an acrobatic show using a trapeze to fly up and down and retrieve requested bottles of wine.

The restaurant's menu combines the cuisine of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas, for a dining experience unmatched anywhere else. At each table, Gauchos will carve an array of grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and sausage, as directed by the guest's red and green disks that indicate when to bring more meat or when a break is needed. The steakhouse also offers an elaborate salad area, beautifully decorated by large tropical flowers and featuring 50 fresh gourmet items, such as imported cheeses, charcuterie, Brazilian black beans, roasted vegetables and creamy lobster bisque. Guests can also peruse an extensive award-winning wine list, rich in South American varietals, or sample the handcrafted authentic salsa bar which is exclusive to the Mexico City location.
Texas de Brazil in Mexico City is located on Masaryk 264, Polanco, in the square of Archimedes. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday: 1pm-12am, Friday and Saturday: 1pm-1am, and Sunday 1pm to 10pm. The dining prices are $495 (pesos) for a Regular Dinner, which includes the meat service and salad area, and $249 (pesos) for Salad Area Only Dinner (prices exclude beverages and dessert). Children 12 years old and younger dine for half-price.
