Texas Instruments Joins the Linux Foundation's Civil Infrastructure Platform as a Gold Member

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Civil Infrastructure Platform (CIP), the open source project enabling long-term management of infrastructure systems, today announced that Texas Instruments Inc. (TI) has joined as a Gold Member. As a member of the CIP, TI demonstrates a commitment to facilitating open source innovation and development of solutions, tooling, and platforms that empower critical open source infrastructure.

The CIP is a collaborative, open source project dedicated to building and maintaining a pre-production base layer—of industrial quality—to implement commercial products. As a member of the CIP, TI brings a proven track record of providing industrial-grade hardware and software development, with solutions that enable smarter factories, more efficient energy management, and more secure communications. As a system-on-chip supplier, TI also brings its extensive expertise in embedded processing and open hardware to the CIP.
