The 2nd Regional Headquarter of Philips China Settles Down in Chengdu High-tech Zone
CHENGDU, China, June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Philips Investment Company (China) (hereinafter refers to Philips) has signed the Memorandum of the Strategic Cooperation with Chengdu High-tech Zone Management Committee in June 20, 2011. Philips is going to set up the second regional headquarter in Chengdu which faces the middle and west regions of China. Jing Gang, the member of the standing committee of municipal Party committee of Chengdu and the sectary of the Party committee of Chengdu High-tech Zone, Han Chunlin, the mayor assistant and the director of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Management Committee, Yuan Zongyong, the deputy director of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Management Committee, Kong Xianghui, the chairman of the board of the Philips Great China and He Jiangang, the senior vice president of the Philips Great China had presence in the signing ceremony.

According to the Memorandum of the Strategic Cooperation, Philips is going to set up its new regional headquarter in Chengdu High-tech Zone. Its function and business include: headquarter of the west region, sell headquarter of the west region, technical support center for the online-sale services, training center for the health-care department of China and R&D and Testing Center for the Lighting Department.etc. Chengdu High-tech Zone will fully support this project to complete in time and successfully.
Kong Xianghui, the chairman of the board of the Philips Great China, said at the ceremony: "Philips will develop the market in the middle and west China with the help of the setting up of the second regional headquarter in Chengdu.
