The AD Club of New York Names Carl Fremont as New Board Chairman

Elects Five New Directors to Board and Recognizes 2015 President's Award Recipients

NEW YORK, July 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The ADVERTISING Club of New York, the industry's leading professional organization representing the vision and mission of the global advertising community across crafts, welcomed new Chairman of the Board Carl Fremont, Global Chief Digital Officer at MEC Global, along with five new members to the Board of Directors at its 119thAnnual Meeting of Members. The event took place at The Skylark in New York on July 21st.

Fremont has been an active and influential member of The AD Club's executive committee for six years, where he most recently served as Senior Vice President. After spending over a decade at Digitas, Fremont was appointed Chief Digital Officer at MEC Global where he oversees the growth and innovation of its digital business encompassing social, mobile, programmatic, search and all forms of content. He will continue to build on The AD Club's momentum established by outgoing Chair, Laurel Rossi, President of Havas Worldwide Strategy Farm.
