NEW YORK, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The ADVERTISING Club of New York, the industry's leading professional organization representing the vision and mission of the global advertising community across crafts, and Advertising REDBOOKS, today will present ADTHINK IV – What's Trending in Tech & Advertising. Sponsored by Davis & Gilbert, LLP and professional services firm EY, ADTHINK will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the EY Offices in Times Square.
In this fourth installment of the ADTHINK series, moderator Nihal Mehta, Founder/Chairman of LocalResponse and General Partner of Eniac Ventures, will lead the audience and panel of experts through a rapid-fire round of pitches from hand-selected start-ups offering cutting edge solutions and diverse backgrounds. Participating start-ups include ListenFirst Media, RockerBox, Stealth Venture and Vistar Media.
A panel of experts, including Jon Bond, Chief Tomorrist of Tomorro\\\LLC; Alex Morrison, SVP/Head of Digital Marketing at Grey Group; and Javier Farfan, Senior Director of Cultural Branding, PepsiCo, will observe, critique and lead a short roundtable discussion following the pitches.
"We are excited to continue our involvement in ADTHINK, as emerging technology and start-up innovation show no sign of slowing down in advertising, media and marketing," said Richard Eisert, Partner, Davis & Gilbert, LLP. "There are many elements required to succeed in the start-up world and this event brings together some of the brightest minds from every element of business – creative, marketing, tech, legal, financial, and more – to address these challenges."
ADTHINK serves as a forum for marketers, brand managers, agency professionals, media/publishing innovators and budding entrepreneurs to discuss how to successfully launch, run and market a start-up. The AD Club of New York and REDBOOKS have built this program to help cultivate start-ups in the advertising community and will present additional ADTHINK events throughout 2014.
"We are proud to be part of an effort that inspires collaboration between the start-up community and advertising," said David Kohl, EY. "Standing out in a saturated market is increasingly difficult and the conversation about tech and advertising is vital to the future of business."
