American Express Gold Card Perks

People who are referred to the American Express India Gold Card through LinkedIn members enjoy free membership for the first year upon approval. With a minimum of four transactions totalling at least INR 250 each, new cardholders will also receive 1,000 additional Membership Reward points. For every INR 50 that is spent on the card, an additional point is earned. Eligibility requirements for this card are moderate, so you can safely refer as many people as you would like.

American Express Platinum Reserve Card Perks

Every LinkedIn contact that you refer to the American Express India Platinum Reserve Card will receive a 20-percent discount on the usual Lifetime Foundation fee. The fee usually costs INR 50,000, which is equal to about $950 USD. With the 20-percent discount, the fee is INR 40,000 or approximately $770 USD. This is a one-time-only fee. Once it is paid, there are no additional annual fees. The initial fee for cards with annual fees is INR 10,000, which equals about $190 USD. Those who choose to pay the Lifetime Foundation fee will receive 10 vouchers for the American Express lounges at the Delhi and Mumbai airports. Those who choose to pay the annual fee will receive two vouchers for those lounges. Upon approval, those who opt to pay the Lifetime Foundation fee will receive 65,000 Membership Reward points while those who pay the annual fee will receive 22,000 bonus points. As a Referrer you go on earning Membership Reward Points or plethora of exciting gifts.

Perks for Referrers

By referring your LinkedIn contacts to the American Express India card, you will enjoy a few nice perks too. For every approved application, you will receive 10,000 Membership Reward points.
