The Art Institute of Austin Announces Ribbon Cutting Celebrating Grand Opening of New Building in Bastrop, TX

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 16, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- The Art Institutes (Ai) is proud to officially celebrate the grand opening of its new building of The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art institute of Houston located in neighboring up-and-coming city, Bastrop, TX. With three area locations, the facility is aptly and centrally located on Main Street in the heart of historic downtown Bastrop. The Ai Main Street facility will be open to the public for tours during its Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Wednesday, November 17th from 4-5:30pm CT.

Participating in the ribbon cutting ceremony will be the Mayor of Bastrop, the Executive Director of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, and The Art Institute of Austin's Campus President, Harvey M. Giblin, M.Ed. – who recently was elected to the Bastrop Chamber's Board of Directors.

The exciting ceremony event is the culmination of over two years of dedicated efforts planning and moving The Art Institute of Austin campus to its new home in the area known as "the Heart of the Lost Pines." In addition to touring the new downtown facility, attendees will be able to view student and alumni creative work, and enjoy small plates curated by The Art Institute of San Antonio's culinary department.
