The Breema Center Presents the 3rd Principle of Harmony During the Month of March: Firmness and Gentleness

OAKLAND, Calif., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its campaign to make 2010 the Year of Living the Nine Principles of Harmony, The Breema Center today announced that the month of March will be dedicated to understanding the principle of "Firmness and Gentleness." The Center will present an in-depth workshop on "Firmness and Gentleness" on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at The Breema Center in Oakland.  

"Real firmness is always gentle, and real gentleness is always firm," said Jon Schreiber, director of The Breema Center. "That is the paradox of true balance in life. Firmness and gentleness are never separate, but complement one another. The key to harmonizing our mind and emotions can be found in the principle of Firmness and Gentleness."

In the practice of Breema, Firmness and Gentleness are always simultaneously present. The opposition inherent in this principle can provide a gateway to self-understanding. By embracing the essence of Firmness and Gentleness, one becomes more available to live from one's own direct experience and still be receptive to recognizing the unity of all that exists.

To guide students through discovering the meaning of Firmness and Gentleness, The Breema Center will host a half-day workshop that will offer various perspectives on the principle. For those students who would like to move toward a deeper understanding of Breema and the Nine Principles of Harmony, The Breema Center will also host a workshop called "The Essential Purpose of Breema" on March 23, 2010.  

Both workshops are for beginners as well as experienced students.
