DETROIT, April 15, 2011/PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Children's Center of Wayne County (TCC) is proud to announce the appointment of John J. Dunn as President of Board of Directors. Mr. Dunn has been a member of The Children's Center Board of Directors since March of 2004. During his tenure he has also served as chair and treasurer of the Finance Committee and is an invaluable resource to the organization.

John Dunn is the vice president and actuary for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. He oversees Middle and Small Group Sales which generates $3.5 billion in annual premiums. Dunn is involved in key projects related to achieving the company's core business strategies, including strategic planning, national health care reform, product development and pricing.
