The Endoscopy Center of West Central Ohio, LLC Acquired by Physicians Endoscopy

LIMA, Ohio, April 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Endoscopy (PE), along with the physicians of Gastro-Intestinal Associates, Inc. (GIA), are pleased to announce on April 1, 2015, the two organizations finalized a joint venture relationship.

PE, leader in the development and management of GI single-specialty ambulatory surgery centers, acquired a majority interest in The Endoscopy Center of West Central Ohio, LLC (ECWO), making this their 38^th ASC. The physicians of GIA felt it was the right time to incorporate a strategic business partner who could provide professional management and expertise to enhance and help protect the ongoing success of their center.

The Endoscopy Center of West Central Ohio is a three-room ambulatory surgery center providing over 7,000 procedures annually. The center opened for operations in 2008, is Medicare certified, State licensed, and AAAHC accredited.
