Award winning startup The Eye Tribe demonstrates their $99 eye tracker on 29 October at TechCrunch Disrupt Europe in the Hardware Alley. Their newly launched pre-order campaign will make truly affordable eye tracking available for developers all over the world for the first time.

The Eye Tribe is looking for the best ways to apply eye control, and today announce a competition for the development community. Developers with great ideas and the ability to create them will be able to enter the competition. Developers with the 20 best ideas will be the first to get their hands on The Eye Tribe Tracker, before it officially starts shipping later this year.

The Eye Tribe Tracker comes with a Software Development Kit (SDK) allowing developers to apply eye control into existing applications and games. It only takes a few lines of code to receive a real-time stream of on-screen gaze coordinates.

Initially The Eye Tribe Tracker will work for Windows only, but The Eye Tribe has already showcased their upcoming Android version, and all the core hardware components used in The Eye Tribe Tracker are suitable for integration into mobile devices.
