This sum represents the present cost of the settlement. The settlement was structured and will pay to the plaintiff future periodic payments. Under the agreement the plaintiff who is a child will be paid Three Million and Three Hundred and Ninety Nine Thousand and Nine Hundred and Twelve Dollars ($3,399,912.00). The future periodic payments are guaranteed by Prudential Insurance Company of America.
