Overview Geopolymers are relatively new materials used in heat and fire-resistant coatings, adhesives, medical applications, engineering industries, and high-temperature ceramics. The new family of synthetic alumino-silicate materials, geopolymers, are formed by alkali activation of alumino-silicate raw materials.
