The Grommet Launches Moff™ Band, a Wearable Smart Toy, at Toy Fair 2015

NEW YORK, Feb. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Moff™ Band (Toy Fair 2015 Booth #3162), the wearable smart toy that turns a child's every movement into realistic sounds, announces availability of the Moff Band on The Grommet (thegrommet.com), a curated, online marketplace and product launch platform. With its availability on The Grommet, Moff Band now reaches a larger, targeted audience of parents looking for the latest and greatest in wearable technology for their kids.

Many parents often worry their kids spend too much time looking at a screen rather than actively playing and using their imaginations. Kids wearing the Moff Band, a Bluetooth-connected slap-bracelet, on their wrist, instantly have the ability to play more than 30 realistic sound effects connected to their arm movements. By simply swinging their arms and using their imagination, kids can play air drums, air guitar, ninja swords, baseball and more.

Retail and Distribution Channel Expansion
In addition to announcing availability on The Grommet starting Friday, February 13, the Moff Band is currently available on Amazon and in select toy retailers in California and New York City. Custom Colors and Covers
To allow for differentiation and customization by retailers and channel partners, the Moff Band is available in a variety of new colors. In addition to the original Moff Orange, new stock colors include Magic Magenta, Mellow Yellow, Mighty Blue and Mystery Lime. Moff can also create custom colors and cover shapes, as requested by the retail channel, so that children can wear Moff Bands as a fashion item. For example, kids can wear an orange Moff Band with a "jack-o'-lantern" cover for the Halloween season.

"My Moff Sounds" Contest
To reward customers who provide suggestions for new Moff Band sound effects, a month-long "My Moff Sounds" Contest kicks off at the Toy Fair 2015 and ends on March 31, 2015. Those customers who submit ideas for sounds on the Moff website (moff.mobi) are entered in a drawing for an iPad Mini and two Moff Bands on April 3, 2015. Special for the Toy Fair 2015, media and buyers are invited to submit their suggestions for sounds, and a special drawing for an iPad Air will be made on Tuesday, February 17, at noon (ET) at the Moff booth.
