Members receive exclusive preview October 17; exhibition runs through January 3
DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Henry Ford is inviting guests to reach for the stars with Artemis Adventure with LEGO® Bricks, a new interactive exhibition opening October 18 in Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation. Inspired by NASA's Artemis missions, the hands-on experience transforms real-world space exploration into creative STEAM challenges where visitors of all ages can design, build and test solutions using LEGO® bricks. The exhibition will be on display through January 3, with an exclusive member preview on October 17.
Combining engineering, creativity and imaginative play, Artemis Adventure invites visitors to step into the role of astronaut, scientist and engineer. Guests can construct lunar landers, race rovers across rugged terrain, design habitats for future Moon and Mars missions, and experiment with interactive challenges inspired by the next era of human space exploration. Throughout the experience, visitors discover how innovation, collaboration and problem-solving are shaping the future of space travel.
The exhibition also features spectacular large-scale LEGO® sculptures depicting some of humanity's greatest achievements in space exploration, including the Orion spacecraft, International Space Station, Space Launch System, Lunar Gateway, Apollo Lunar Module, Mars habitats and more. A full-scale Axiom Space Suit photo opportunity allows guests to imagine themselves as part of tomorrow's missions.
Designed for families, LEGO enthusiasts, aspiring engineers and lifelong learners alike, Artemis Adventure blends hands-on learning with open-ended exploration. Interactive stations encourage teamwork, critical thinking and creative experimentation while introducing visitors to the science and technology behind NASA's return to the Moon and future missions to Mars.
Produced and toured internationally by Flying Fish with support from Science World British Columbia, the traveling exhibition celebrates the power of curiosity and imagination while inspiring the next generation of innovators through one of the world's most recognizable creative mediums—LEGO® bricks.
