With over 20 years of service at Kaiser Permanente, Dr. Afflalo has held various leadership roles and contributed significantly to patient care and community health.

Dr. Afflalo earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, and her MD from George Washington Medical School in Washington, DC. She completed her residency in family medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical facilities in Los Angeles. Dr. Afflalo's career at Kaiser Permanente has been marked by her leadership and commitment to patient care.

Currently, Dr. Afflalo is co-owner of IWC Primary Care, a Sharp Community Medical Group clinic, where she continues to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages, including seniors for wellness examinations. She is known for her personal touch, spending time with her patients and offering empathy and compassion.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Afflalo is actively involved in community service. She volunteers with the San Diego Humane Society and sponsors the Monthly Community Health and Resource Fair, providing free health screenings, medical education, and food distribution to the local community.
