The Living Legends of Aviation welcome Delta Air Lines as the Presenting Sponsor of the After Party at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards being held April 25, 2025 at The Beverly Hilton

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 7, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Living Legends of Aviation are pleased to announce that Delta Air Lines will be the Presenting Sponsor for the 22^nd Annual Living Legends of Aviation After Party.

John Travolta, the "Official Ambassador of Aviation," will host the star studded 22^nd Annual "Living Legends of Aviation Awards" on April 25, 2025 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The event honors those who have made significant contributions to aviation and aerospace. This year's event will include a special segment honoring the aerial firefighters who spent weeks fighting the Los Angeles area fires in January.

Some of this year's awards will include:

Polaris Dawn Crew to receive the inaugural Dr. Buzz Aldrin Space Advancement Award for their historic Polaris Dawn mission. Commander Jared Isaacman, Mission Pilot Scott "Kid" Poteet, Mission Specialist Sarah Gillis and Mission Specialist and Medical Officer Anna Menon performed cutting-edge experiments, high altitude orbital maneuvers and performed the first ever private spacewalk.

LCDR Amanda "Stalin" Lee will be presented the Barron Hilton Aviation Inspiration Award for breaking the barrier by becoming the first female demonstration pilot for the Blue Angels. Her decorations include four Navy Achievement medals and various personal and unit awards.

Aviation Entrepreneur will be given to Kaye Gitibin. Gitibin is the co-founder and CEO of Go Rentals, the only vehicle rental company in the world specializing in private aviation and the only one with NATA Safety First certification.
