The Marketing Arm Taps Jason Katz, Erin Dwyer for VP Roles

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 15, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Marketing Arm, a next-generation promotion agency that topped Promo magazine's "Most Creative" list in 2010, has named Jason Katz and Erin Dwyer to vice president roles.

Katz joins as vice president/gaming to lead video game marketing strategies for the agency's clients and the activation of all gaming programs and initiatives, including in-game placement, branded games, promotions, partnerships, sponsorships, and events.

Dwyer will serve as vice president/digital strategy and integration. In that role, she will plan and incorporate social, mobile, web and emerging technologies into client campaigns to extend and enhance consumer engagement.

Both will be based in The Marketing Arm's Los Angeles office.

Previously, Katz served as vice president of marketing for Snail Games USA, a division of Snail Games, one of the largest video game developers in China and a world leader in free-to-play MMO games.

He has additional experience with the Championship Gaming Series, Tribal DDB, Draft FCB, and Mirrorball Group, a New York-based entertainment marketing firm. During his career, he's worked with a number of leading brands, including Pepsi, DIRECTV, BSkyB, Dell, and McDonald's.
