The Mars Agency Holds Company-Wide Volunteer Day Across Global Offices

DETROIT, Oct. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Employees at global marketing-to-shoppers leader The Mars Agency will be holding their annual company-wide global citizenship day on Friday, October 5. Over 300 Martians will be volunteering worldwide — from the company's home office in Southfield, MI, to offices across North America and Europe.

Martians in Detroit will be volunteering as part of a week-long local initiative known as Life Remodeled, where they'll join over 10,000 volunteers in an effort to beautify over 300 blocks around Detroit's Central High School.

Across the agency, Martians in Toronto will be volunteering at the Yellow Brick House in support of abused women and children; Bentonville, AR employees will be returning to Apple Seeds Farms in Fayetteville, Arkansas to inspire healthy living through garden-based education; and Minneapolis Martians will be helping out at Meals on Wheels. Other volunteer organizations include Plant Chicago, City Meals in New York and the Cincinnati VA Medical Center.
