The Melting Pot Seeks New Owner for Existing New Orleans Restaurant

TAMPA, Fla., June 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Melting Pot^® Restaurants, Inc., the world's premier fondue restaurant and a leading polished casual dining franchise, announced today that an existing unit is available for sale by owner in New Orleans. The brand is seeking qualified owner-operator candidates who are interested in owning their very own Melting Pot restaurant. Currently, The Melting Pot has one additional restaurant in Louisiana in Baton Rouge.

The Melting Pot for sale in New Orleans is located in the historic Packard Motor Sales building at 1820 St. Charles Avenue in the Lower Garden District, which opened in December 2005. The 166-seat restaurant is 4,700 square feet and features a 14-foot, glass enclosed wine room that holds over 1,200 bottles of fine wines from around the world. Entrepreneurs with business backgrounds and/or operators with restaurant experience who are passionate about the brand and interested in business ownership can expect the total investment for the New Orleans location not to exceed $350,000.
