The Offshore Group to hold executive workshop for SMEs

TUSCON, Ariz., Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Offshore Group will hold an executive workshop for SMEs, "A Roadmap to Manufacturing in Mexico," Oct. 22-25, 2015 in Saltillo, Coahuila.

Attendees will learn how to structure a manufacturing operation in Mexico, how to obtain financing, tips and advice from experienced plant managers as well as the reasons why Mexico is attractive to foreign manufacturers. There will also be an opportunity to learn about the cost of manufacturing in the country, ways to reduce costs, risk factors and how to get help throughout the process.

Attendees will also have access to individualized cost analysis, tours of OEMs, tier one and tier two facilities, conference sessions covering key business planning concepts and an introduction to government and financial services available to foreign companies.

The conference starts at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20. On Wednesday, Oct. 21, attendees will participate in speaking events, a visit to the Magna plant and a sponsored dinner. Thursday, Oct. 22 will feature panel discussions, presentations from The Offshore Group, a roundtable lunch and a fiesta to end of the day. Friday, Oct. 23 is optional for all attendees and will include offsite tours.

General admission registration is $1,200 per person and includes hotel, meals, cost analysis and ground transportation. All interested participants must register by Oct. 20, 2015.
