The RealReal Appoints Nicolas Genest As Chief Technology Officer

SAN FRANCISCO, May 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The RealReal, the leader in online luxury consignment, announced today the appointment of Nicolas Genest to its leadership team as Chief Technology Officer.  Nicolas will be responsible for The RealReal's technology infrastructure and product development.

Nicolas joins The RealReal from where he was Chief Technology Officer overseeing operations, products and technology for the new US division.  While at, Nicolas led the technology department in France from 2007 to 2012 as it grew from $170M to $1B in revenue. Vente-privee is widely known as the ecommerce company, which pioneered the model of online flash sales.

The RealReal is changing the way people buy and sell luxury items.
