The SCORE Foundation Announces New Appointments
WASHINGTON, Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The SCORE Foundation, the philanthropic support arm of SCORE, assisting in raising those vital funds to extend SCORE's counseling and training across America in support of growing 1 million successful small businesses by 2017, announces the appointment of RESA KIERSTEIN, Director of Business Development, KRISTIN BERKERY, Director of Donor Stewardship and KATHERINE DOBOSZ, Development Assistant.
Resa Kierstein joins the organization with over 13 years' experience in relationship building and development experience in the corporate, foundation and individual support categories. Resa will be responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining new and existing partnerships with companies, foundations and individuals committed to support strategic SCORE programs and small business resources.
Kristin Berkery returns to The SCORE Foundation bringing with her more than 15 years' experience in non-profit development, annual giving, communications, marketing, project management and volunteer management. As a part-time Director of Stewardship Kristin will manage and implement comprehensive donor relations and stewardship programs which ensures continued interaction and recognition of corporate sponsors, foundation grants and individual donors.
Katherine Dobosz continues her role as the part-time Development Assistant with emphasis on the acknowledgement and tracking process for sponsors and donors. As a full-time graduate student at the University of Florida, Dobosz is a key member of the fundraising and development team and brings intrinsic knowledge of the mission of SCORE / The SCORE Foundation.
