The Search for the Tommy Bahama Rumologist Continues: Only One Week Left to Apply for a Chance to Win $50,000 and Claim the Coveted Rumologist Title!

SEATTLE, Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Since announcing their search for the first-ever Tommy Bahama Rumologist™, the official Rumologist application page found on the Tommy Bahama Facebook site (www.facebook.com/tommybahama) has been flooded with thousands of fans and would-be Rumologists seeking the title (a Rumologist is a person with a vast knowledge of all things related to rum – one that can pour, educate, mix and create island-inspired cocktails for Tommy Bahama). With the official submission deadline of August 22nd quickly approaching, there is still time for the self-proclaimed experts from around the country to create a one minute-long video and fill out a simple application to prove that they are worthy of the title!

To enter the search, Tommy Bahama is looking for anyone that believes they have what it takes to hold and honor the title, including established bartenders, mixologists and cocktail enthusiasts.  All participants are asked to create a short video (60 seconds max) declaring their candidacy and explaining why they should be chosen to be the Tommy Bahama Rumologist. A winner will be announced on/or around October 6, 2011.  The search is currently taking place on the Tommy Bahama Facebook page:  www.facebook.com/tommybahama.

In addition to complete contest rules, updates and postings on Facebook, Tommy Bahama has created a MultiVu/ARC media center which will contain promotion updates, videos, press releases and applicant information.
