New Employees Travel to Philadelphia's Union League

WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Union League in Philadelphia. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Union League, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia including Buddakan, Butcher & Singer, and R2L. At the end of orientation, the group had the chance to attend the Firm's MY Journey™ Live Event focused on Entrepreneurial Leadership.

In Siegfried Operations in Wilmington, Siegfried is excited about Jeff McHugh joining the Firm.

Jeff joins the Siegfried Operations team in Wilmington, DE as a Senior Systems Developer Analyst. Prior to joining Siegfried, Jeff spent a year at American Water in a similar role after running his own IT company for four years. Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in IT in a variety of roles. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Susquehanna University.

Jeff brings a positive, can-do attitude and a good sense of humor to every endeavor. He strives to consistently deliver the highest level of technical tools and support to his stakeholders. Jeff says, "Siegfried's unique culture and five promises were what hooked me! I look forward to sharing ideas and learning a lot from my colleagues."

In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, his three children and his dog, a border collie named Oreo. He also enjoys playing the guitar and playing softball! Among his accomplishments are winning Employee of the Year at PR Newswire out of more than 1,100 of his co-workers, thanks to his hard work and customer service. In addition, while at SunGard Availability Services, one of the leading disaster recovery companies in the world, Jeff's project, "Virtual Command Center," became part of the company's intellectual property.
