The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the Atlanta and DC Markets for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Union League in Philadelphia. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Union League, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia including Buddakan, Butcher & Singer, and R2L. At the end of orientation, the group had the chance to attend the Firm's MY Journey™ Live Event focused on Entrepreneurial Leadership.

In the Atlanta and DC Markets, Siegfried is excited about Candie Ard, Eric Fladland, Kristen Muncie, Julian Rojas, Lane Sucher and Jennifer Zollman joining the Firm.

Candie Ard

Candie is an outstanding professional who joins the Atlanta Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Novelis, where she gained two years of Corporate Accounting experience with some exposure to FP&A. Prior to Novelis, Candie gained four years of audit experience at EY, focusing mainly on telecommunication services. She received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University.

Candie has a nuanced approach to challenges that embodies confidence, commitment and flexibility for every engagement. She says, "Joining Siegfried will allow me the opportunities to create highly functional environments and add significant value to my clients."

In her free time, Candie enjoys cooking and staying active through group fitness classes. She also likes hosting brunches for her book club, and is best known for her gumbo!

Eric Fladland, CPA

Eric is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Atlanta Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Deloitte, where he gained five years of audit experience with a primary focus on the technology industry. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Business Management from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. 

Eric's commitment to excellence in client service and strong analytical skills allows him to add meaningful value through better project execution and continuous improvement. Eric says "The opportunity to further develop my own skills while helping clients complete critical projects is just one of the reasons I knew Siegfried was the right place for me."

In his free time, Eric enjoys working outdoors or around the house fixing things up. He also enjoys spending time with friends socializing, going out to explore new places, grilling out or having a night of board games and cards.

Kristen Muncie

Kristen is a talented accounting professional who joins the Washington, D.C. Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from PNC Bank, and previously KPMG, where she gained two years of audit experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with her primary concentration in Accounting from West Virginia University.

Kristen has a positive outlook and strong communication skills and looks forward to taking on new and exciting challenges. Kristen says, "I joined Siegfried because I wanted to work at a company that is highly respected and that would give me the opportunity to work on different clients in different industries."

In her free time, Kristen stays active through running and working out. She's an avid WVU supporter of her native home town teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Pirates. She also enjoys hiking and sightseeing in Washington, DC since she is still new to the area. 

Julian Rojas, CPA

Julian is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Washington, D.C. market as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining Siegfried, he worked on a diverse set of clients at Grant Thornton in South Florida for two years after which he moved to D.C. to work in real estate at Brookfield Office Properties. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from the University of Florida.

With his adaptive and dedicated work ethic, Julian continually delivers quality client service. He says, "The diversity of client projects and potential for meaningful career growth are what brought me to Siegfried."

In his free time, Julian enjoys staying active, both physically and mentally, and traveling with friends and family. He's quickly picked up snowboarding since moving to DC and enjoys an occasional casual game of Magic: The Gathering. He is always looking to incorporate adventure in his travels; from white water rafting in Austria to rappelling and hiking in the jungles of Colombia. 

Lane Sucher, CPA

Lane is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Atlanta Market as a Manager. She comes to Siegfried from KPMG, where she gained seven years of audit experience with a primary focus in the insurance and retail industries. Lane received her Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Georgia and her Masters of Science in Accounting from University of New Orleans.

Lane's positive attitude helps motivate those around her to work towards a common goal by effectively and efficiently leveraging her teams strengths. She says, "I am excited to be a part of Siegfried for the interesting and challenging work and providing value to the clients we serve."

In her free time, Lane enjoys being active, traveling, and cooking. She enjoys running, trying new workout studios, and practicing yoga. Lane has a passion for food and enjoys trying new and exciting food throughout her travels, while also incorporating her New Orleans roots into her cuisine. 

Jennifer Zollman, CPA

Jennifer is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Washington, D.C. market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Freddie Mac where she served as a Financial Controller Senior. Prior to this most recent role, Jennifer spent time with EY as an Assurance Senior and with Grant Thornton as an Associate. She began her career at NetStar-1 as an Accounting Technician. Jennifer received her Masters of Accountancy from Georgetown University and her B.S. in Management from Case Western Reserve University.

Jennifer's attention to detail, exceptional problem solving skills and penchant for professional growth enable her to provide immense value on every project. When asked about joining Siegfried, Jennifer said, "I am really excited to join Siegfried because I love taking on new challenges and I look forward to learning many new things."

When she is not in the office, Jennifer spends her time either running or hiking with her dog. She also loves to play volleyball and practice archery.
