The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the Central Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Dec. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia.

In Siegfried's Central region, the Firm is excited about Laura Blake, Michael Di Biasio, Justin Miller and Marco Montes joining the team.

Laura Blake, CPA

Laura is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Cleveland Market as a Manager. She hails from Deloitte, and she has over eight years of public accounting experience in the external assurance practice, serving both publicly traded and privately held clients in a wide array of industries. She received her Bachelors in Accounting and Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond.

Laura says, "The variety of consistently challenging projects was initially what drew me to Siegfried, but the people, culture, and Firm philosophy was what made me eager to be a part of this organization!"

Laura enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, and her Portuguese Water Dog, Tucker. Tucker, a well-traveled dog who joins Laura and her husband on their travel adventures, has been swimming in the Puget Sound, Lake Erie, and Atlantic Ocean! Laura also enjoys visiting her nephew in NYC and spending time with friends in Seattle, where she lived for five years.  

Michael Di Biasio

Michael joins the Cleveland Market as a Senior Associate. Prior to working at Siegfried, he worked for Grant Thornton, where he gained three years of audit experience in a variety of fields including Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and Insurance. He received his Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in Accounting from Kent State University.

As a veteran of the United States Air Force, Michael's continued dedication to the Air Force core values, "Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do," are what set him apart in the workplace. "The exposure to new and challenging projects fosters professional growth and enhances leadership skills," Michael says. "The opportunity for these experiences is why I chose Siegfried."

In his spare time, Michael volunteers to assist veterans of foreign wars through various Veterans Affairs organizations, which are dedicated to helping and honoring veterans. At the age of 15, Michael became an Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America. 

Justin Miller, CPA

Justin is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Cleveland Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from Grant Thornton, where he gained three years of audit experience. He received his BS in Accountancy from Kent State University.

Justin's passion for accounting and positive attitude on client engagements are what allow him to deliver distinctive client service. Justin says, "The Firm's unique business model and the potential to gain great experience is what drew me to The Siegfried Group."

In his spare time, Justin is a music aficionado and writes, records, and produces music with various artists from the Cleveland area. While in college, he was extremely involved in his campus community and served on the executive board for the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Marco Montes

Marco is the newest member of the Chicago market, joining the Firm as a Senior Director. Throughout his career, Marco has held numerous roles in the financial services industry such as business unit controller, operations manager and project manager. He received his Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Montclair State College. 

Marco's ability to effectively liaison amongst different groups in order to reach the end goal has been his major strength in the work place. He believes that through collaboration and team work anything can be achieved. "Joining The Siegfried Group provides me with career growth, new opportunities and challenges," Marco says. "I am excited to work on the wide variety of projects offered by the Firm!" 

When he's not hard at work, Marco enjoys being active in his community and volunteers his time monthly, as handy man for the elderly in need of home repairs. He is also an avid motorcyclist, and enjoys motorcycle club rides and spending as much time as possible outdoors.
