The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the Charlotte and Houston Markets for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Union League in Philadelphia. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Union League, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia including Buddakan, Butcher & Singer, and R2L. At the end of orientation, the group had the chance to attend the Firm's MY Journey™ Live Event focused on Entrepreneurial Leadership.

In the Charlotte and Houston Markets, Siegfried is excited about Neyly Huezo, Hillary Maul, Alvin Lam, Juval Lerner and Rashel Teach joining the Firm.

Neyly Huezo

Neyly is an enthusiastic accounting professional who joins the Houston Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from EY, where she gained almost five years of audit experience as a part of the Financial Services Organization with a primary focus in the Life and Health insurance industry. She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of New Orleans.

Neyly's decisive, tireless, and forthright mindset enables others to be comfortable and confident when working with her. Neyly says, "My goal-oriented attitude allows me to lead projects and take effective and timely actions in order to help my clients accomplish their objectives."

In her free time, Neyly stays active by going to the gym and biking. She also enjoys cooking, traveling, and playing basketball. As she undertook her new hobby in snorkeling last summer, she is planning on taking it one step further by getting her scuba diving license to go to Roatan: the world's 2^nd largest coral reef!

Alvin Lam, CA, CPA

Alvin is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Accountant who joins the Houston Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from EY, where he gained four years of audit experience. He received his Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management and Masters of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.

Alvin's confidence, commitment, and flexibility makes him a dependable and valuable member to any team. He says, "The opportunity to work with and learn from professionals on challenging projects is why I wanted to be a part of The Siegfried Group."

Alvin enjoys traveling, whether it is for vacation or work purposes, and always strives to experience the culture of every city he visits. He is originally from Canada, and looks forward to exploring Houston and taking advantage of the snowless climate!

Juval Lerner, CA

Juval is a Chartered Accountant who joins the Houston Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from PwC, where he gained almost three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the real estate and manufacturing industries. Prior to accounting, he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.

Juval's engaging approach invigorates those around him by developing a mutual respect and admiration, creating a cohesive working environment that leads to exceptional results. He says, "My teams love my Emotionally-Intelligent Integrity because it brings everyone together towards a common goal."

In his free time, Juval enjoys making new friends and exploring new cities. He looks forward to exploring more of the United States, and plans to visit ten new cities within the next two years!

Hillary Maul

Hillary is a dynamic professional who joins the Houston Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from KPMG Dallas, where she gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the investment management industry. She received her Masters in Accounting from Southern Methodist University and her Bachelors degree from Davidson College.

Hillary is always looking for a more efficient or effective way to develop solutions and create client value. She says, "I joined Siegfried for the unique project variety, as well as for the development of a more meaningful and beneficial impact on my clients."

In her free time, Hillary is an avid Davidson College supporter and loves watching the Wildcats play in the NCAA tournament each year. She enjoys volunteering within the art gallery space at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston and traveling with fellow SMU and Davidson friends. Hillary also enjoys playing beach volleyball, golf and tennis throughout the spring and summer months.

Rashel Teach, CPA

Rashel is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Charlotte Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from the Capital Group, where she spent three years in global portfolio accounting.  She started her career at Wall, Einhorn and Chernitzer, where she gained almost five years of audit experience in a variety of industries. She received her Bachelors degree in Accounting from Old Dominion University.

According to Rashel, "I thrive in a dynamic environment, embrace change and truly enjoy facing new challenges and taking on complex problems - all reasons why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In her free time, Rashel enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys cooking, traveling and exploring Charlotte, where she recently moved from Virginia Beach!
