The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the New York Metro Market for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., March 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Encore Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.

In the New York Metro Market, Siegfried is excited about Jordan Aharon, Wendy Choi, Jonathan Holden, Arnob Kundu, Martin Li, Lawrence Mansfield, Gashiya Mohandas and Camille Singh joining the Firm.

Jordan Aharon, CA

Jordan is a Chartered Accountant who joins the New York Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from KPMG LLP, where he gained four years of audit and corporate tax experience primarily with financial institutions, broker/dealer and real estate clients. He received his Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Jordan's innovative and rational approach to challenging circumstances, along with his thoughtful originality to create and implement new ideas with practicality makes him an impressive member in the workplace. Jordan says, "I am looking forward to the variety in client environments and opportunities for professional growth offered at The Siegfried Group".

Jordan likes to spend his free time with friends and family, pursuing various activities and hobbies like basketball, soccer, skiing and squash. He enjoys a diverse variety of music as well as travelling the world and experiencing new cultures.

Wendy Choi, CA 

Wendy is a Chartered Accountant who joins the New York Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from KPMG Sydney, where she gained close to three years of audit experience with a primary focus within the real estate, construction and developments industry. She received her Bachelor in Accounting from the University of New South Wales.

Wendy is intuitive and strives to continuously grow in both a technical and social manner. Her desire for growth makes her a strong, well-rounded player within the workplace. According to Wendy, "Siegfried provides opportunities to learn and grow across a multitude of accounting areas, which is unique among accounting firms."

In her free time, Wendy enjoys being active and travelling. Her favorite sports include yoga and kick boxing. Her eagerness to continuously learn new things has led her to travel all over Asia and South America, and now the United States. Along the way, she has developed a passion in learning different languages. She is proficient in three languages and is currently studying towards a fourth!

Jonathan Holden, CA

Johnny is a Chartered Accountant from South Africa who joins the New York Metro office as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from McGladrey LLP, where he gained two years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services industry. Additionally he spent five years in Cape Town, South Africa working for Bernard Shaw Auditors. He received his Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship and Accounting from Stellenbosch University, and his Honors in Accounting from the University of South Africa.

Johnny's practical approach to solving problems, coupled with his commitment to quality and desire to bring out the best in his team makes him a distinctive player in the workplace. Johnny says, "I get the greatest sense of professional fulfillment from tackling challenging projects and this is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In his free time, Johnny stays active through running and playing soccer. He's an avid soccer supporter and loves to watch the English Premier League on the weekend with his friends. He also enjoys music production and traveling across the United States.  

Arnob Kundu

Arnob is an accounting professional who joins the New York Metro Market as an Associate Manager. He comes to Siegfried from WeiserMazars, LLP, where he gained three years of audit experience. He received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from State University of New York at Albany, and his Masters in Professional Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Arnob's personable demeanor and excellent communication skills enable him to communicate efficiently and effectively with both his clients and his fellow team members. Arnob says, "I look forward to the opportunity to tackle challenging projects and deliver maximum value to my clients!"

Arnob is a music aficionado who spends his free time performing as a D.J. at venues all over New York City. He loves to travel, and enjoys experiencing the local music scene wherever his travels take him!

Martin Li, CPA

Martin is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried's New York Market as a Director. He comes to the Firm from Corporate Finance Group, where he was a Manager, and has also previously worked with AIG and Deloitte. He received his Bachelors in Accounting from Boston University. Martin's vast array of experience and proven success record make him an asset to any team. According to Martin, "I am excited to take on new challenges and continue to learn new things at Siegfried." In his spare time, Martin enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, photography and traveling. Although he grew up in Boston, Martin was born in Hong Kong!

Lawrence Mansfield, CA

Lawrence is a Chartered Accountant who joins the New York Market as a Manager. He comes to Siegfried from Melbourne, Australia where he gained five years of audit experience at BDO and also previously worked as a Risk Accountant at Aon. He received his Bachelors of Commerce in Accounting, Finance and eBusiness from Deakin University.

Lawrence's results-focused attitude allows him to dive headfirst into solving complex challenges, making him an immense asset to his team. Lawrence says, "The opportunities provided by The Siegfried Group have allowed me to develop my knowledge and broaden my experience within many areas of accounting.

In his free time, Lawrence stays active through sport and travel. He's an avid snowboarder and loves to travel to warm places with palm trees. He enjoys kite surfing and likes experiencing new thrills from bungee jumping in New Zealand to climbing volcanoes in Vanuatu. He plans to maintain his active lifestyle wherever his work takes him.

Gashiya Mohandas, CA

Gashiya is a Chartered Accountant who joins the New York Market as an Associate Manager. She comes to Siegfried from Melbourne, Australia. Her previous experience includes working at KPMG Melbourne, where she gained four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the retail and manufacturing industries. She has also accumulated three years of industry accounting experience whilst living in Melbourne and London post KPMG. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Monash University.

Gashiya looks forward to continually expand her experience in the accounting and finance arena. She says, "The opportunities to work in various accounting roles in different industries and develop client relationships is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

In her free time, Gashiya enjoys travelling, and has spent the last two years living in the United Kingdom. Her goal is to visit all seven continents, and South America and Antarctica are the only two she has left on her list! Gashiya also enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new restaurants.

Camille Singh

Camille is an accounting professional who joins the New York Metro Market as a Senior Associate. She previously worked for McGladrey LLP, where she gained three years of audit experience with a primary focus in the financial services industry.  Camille received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from St. John's University.

According to Camille, "I am excited to embark on new client projects where I will be able to provide a helping hand, as well as gain experience and expand my knowledge base."

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also likes to travel, whether it's local, exploring a new part of New York, or abroad, to a tropical island. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, and loves learning to cook or bake something new!
