The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the Northeast Region for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Aug. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Union League in Philadelphia. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The orientation kicked off with a welcome reception at the Union League, and throughout orientation, the group was able to enjoy dinners at some of the finest restaurants in Philadelphia including Buddakan, Butcher & Singer, and R2L. At the end of orientation, the group had the chance to attend the Firm's MY Journey™ Live Event focused on Entrepreneurial Leadership.

In the Northeast Region, Siegfried is excited about Sarah Brown, Hunter Jordan and Michelle Lanken joining the Firm.

Sarah Brown

Sarah is a dedicated professional who joins Siegfried's Boston Market as a Senior Associate. She comes to Siegfried from Marcum LLP, where she gained external audit experience with primary focuses in financial services, software and high tech industries. She received both her Bachelors and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.

Sarah is a dependable and perceptive professional who consistently strives to deliver balanced and comprehensive results to clients. She says, "The opportunity to learn and grow as a professional from exposure to a variety of projects, transactions, and industries is why I joined Siegfried."

In her free time, Sarah is an avid traveler who loves to explore and meet new people. She hopes to cross off her bucket list all seven new Wonders of the World in the future. She already has two crossed off her list from previous travels - the Roman Colosseum and the Great Wall of China!

Hunter Jordan, CA

Hunter is a Chartered Accountant who joins the New York Market as a Senior Associate. He comes to Siegfried from PwC Vancouver, where he gained almost four years of audit experience with a primary focus in the mining and manufacturing industries. Hunter received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

Hunter prides himself in delivering exceptional high-quality results paired with timely and efficient solutions. He excels in picking up and adapting to new tasks and environments due to his strong commitment and unwavering confidence. He says "I wanted to take on new challenges while working with internationally recognized companies, and that is why I wanted to be a part of Siegfried."

Hunter was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and moved to New York only a month ago with his wife. In his free time, he stays active through sports and travelling. He played varsity basketball in college, and is still an avid men's league player. He has travelled to a new country every year since meeting his wife, and will continue to do so going forward. His travels include climbing volcanoes in Bali and canyoning down waterfalls in Costa Rica.  

Michelle Lanken

Michelle is an accounting professional who joins the New York Market as an Associate Director. She comes to Siegfried after she gained many years of operational, technical and financial reporting experience in industry accounting. She received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Accounting from Cal Poly, SLO.

Michelle's ability to remain focused on challenging assignments enables her to consistently meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results. Michelle says, "My goal is to constantly challenge myself to grow professionally and technically.  I strongly believe that Siegfried offers exceptional project-based opportunities to meet this goal."

Recently Michelle relocated from San Francisco and enjoys spending her free time exploring New York City with her two young children and husband. She is also an avid runner and has ran many half marathons and one full marathon in the past five years.
