The Siegfried Group, LLP Welcomes New Professionals from the Northern California Market for New Hire Orientation

WILMINGTON, Del., Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Siegfried Group, LLP recently hosted new professionals from across the United States at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The group learned more about the Firm's unique model, various departments and functions, and heard Robert L. Siegfried, Jr., CPA, Chief Executive Officer and President, speak about the Firm's higher purpose.

Siegfried's New Hire Orientation program is centered on introducing new professionals to the Firm's extraordinary culture. It is a great opportunity to meet members of the Firm's Leadership, the Operations team and other fellow Professional Resources, while enjoying an exciting venue. The four-day program includes sessions on the Firm's structure, Siegfried's Client Service Delivery Model, Professional Resource expectations, as well as interactive presentations from all of the departments throughout the company. The group was able to unwind during cocktail receptions as well as enjoy small group dinners held at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas.

In Siegfried's Northern California office in the West region, the Firm is excited about Leanna Bottarini, Jose Peris and Brittany Todorov joining the team.

Leanna Bottarini, CPA

Leanna is a Certified Public Accountant who joins the Firm's San Francisco market as an Associate Manager. She previously worked for Deloitte, where she gained experience in a wide variety of audit clients including private equity firms, non-profits, and consumer business products. Leanna graduated from UC Santa Barbara with her Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics. 

According to Leanna, Siegfried's strong company culture drew her to the Firm. "I am excited to be surrounded by focused, intelligent people who love to be challenged," she says.

During her free time, Leanna enjoys planning upcoming trips - she went to Scottsdale, Puerto Rico, Miami, St. Croix, Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas this year! She also enjoys baking, taking salsa dancing lessons and closely following her favorite sports team, the San Francisco Giants.

Jose Peris, CPA

Jose is a Certified Public Accountant who joins Siegfried as an Associate Director in the San Francisco market. He began his career at EY, where he spent over seven years in audit, and spent the past four years working at a start-up aviation company in Miami, where he served as the Director of Financial Operations. Jose graduated from Florida State University with undergraduate degrees in Management Information Systems and Finance, and he completed his Masters of Science in Accounting at the University of Virginia.

Jose's work ethic, inquisitiveness and leadership skills are what set him apart in the workplace. Jose says, "The promise of interesting work and challenging, resume-building projects attracted me the most to The Siegfried Group."

Jose likes to stay active by participating in CrossFit, hiking, soccer, cycling, and other sports. As a recent transplant to San Francisco, Jose enjoys exploring the Bay Area and everything it has to offer.

Brittany Todorov, CA

Brittany is a Chartered Accountant who joins the San Jose Market as a Senior Associate. Her previous work experience includes KPMG in Vancouver where she gained over three years of audit experience, primarily with financial institutions, funds and real estate clients. She received her BBA in Honors Accounting and Finance from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.

Brittany joined The Siegfried Group because of the opportunity for professional growth. According to Brittany, "I am keen to gain exposure to a broad range of new skillsets in a variety of client environments."

In her spare time, Brittany enjoys spending time outdoors, trail running, hiking, skiing, or swimming. Her other interests include travel, cooking and food, and music. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her Dachshund, Beeky.
